Welcome to the New Milford Wrestling Association Free Trial! The goal of this program is to provide opportunity to develop not only wrestling specific skills but develop things like agility, quickness, flexibility, coordination, and endurance over the course of the wrestling season. By joining our program you can expect to see a boost in your athletes mental toughness, resilience, and self confidence.

Ages

Children from ages 4 through Middle School can join our team, which will compete in both tournaments and dual meets against teams from across CT!

Practices

Practice will run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 6pm-8pm at SNIS

Games

Dual meets and tournament start in December, and run through the State Championships in late February, and New Englands in early March.

Jerseys

Once signed up for the team. There will be team shirt, shorts and singlet provided to each registered wrestler. Other gear available to order through our team store.

Extra Costs

Things that could be expected are:

Head gear, wrestling shoes, and mouth guard (if needed)

Tournament fees (excluding a few)

New this year it will be the responsibility of the parents to get a USA Wrestling card. THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR ALL ATHLETES.
